Isn't technology amazing???

Come on, you knew I wouldn't stay mad at my gadgets for very long.

I just got a Maxtor 200GB external hard drive!!! You wouldn't believe this thing. First of all, it's super fast, second of all, it's super quiet, third of all, it doesn't get hot and fourth and BEST of all, it took 30GB of information off of my laptop hard drive!!! Yeah, free space!! Of course, all of that is just my CU coursework ALONE.

Let's just for one minute list all the things that are hooked up to my littel laptop: 1 DSL modem, 1 set of speakers, 1 external hard drive, 1 eight (yes 8) port USB hub, 1 mouse, 1 compact flash card reader, 1 printer, 1 scanner, 1 palm pilot port and last but not least, 1 ipod USB connector. Holy cannoli! My poor little laptop is soooo overworked.

So, while I was feeling imprisoned my my technology just a couple days ago, tonight (or this morning, it is 2:34am) I am feeling ever so grateful for such wonderful devices. And the best news of all is that my cell phone emerged unscathed from Sunday's episode. All that happened is the battery fried. That, of course, cost me $40, but hey, in June I get a brandy new one.
